Sunday Funday

Important: Janelle's cell phone is temporarily out of commission, and we are going to take this opportunity to return to being a one cell phone family but with an Indiana number. If you would like our phone number, please either email me or leave your email address in a comment on our posts. Immediate family: we'll be sending a mass email to you, so don't worry.

We had a lovely and, at times, eventful weekend that involved not a lot of conference watching on Saturday, and a lot of attempted conference watching on Sunday.

Here's us today.

Dorothy has become obsessed with watching old videos of her baby self on our computer. Here she is totally televised.

Here's me trying to go cross eyed and not really succeeding. My hair is growing out though, no? I feel like it can almost be called a bob. Maybe that's just wishful thinking. It looks awkward right now and I have no idea what to do with it. So I just don't. I like that philosophy.

And finally, the really good looking one makes an appearance in my post. We're both looking a little scruffy because we decided today to bike over to our friends to watch a session of conference with them. They have a little boy Dorothy's age who she usually likes to play with. This time, they decided to steal each other's toys for most of conference. Our plan backfired, but it was still fun. Blogosphere, be impressed. Dallin pulled Dorothy in the bike trailer up a very very very big hill. In the wind. Our trailer acts a lot like a parachute. What a hunk.

Mini update:

-I have made lots of really wonderful friends. We all got together Saturday night while our babies slept and our husbands were at Priesthood. We got Thai food take-out and stayed up way too late. It was SO fun.

-We finally got Dorothy some winter shoes. I have a really good blog post brewing about that shopping trip.

-It has gotten COLD here really really fast. I'm getting scared for winter. We're working on getting new coats. I'm told our nice Utah wool coats aren't gonna cut it here.

-Dallin has been working hard at school but his schedule is much more flexible than undergrad, so I feel like I see him so much more. If I (accidentally or intentionally) sleep in late, he sticks around in the mornings with Dorothy and Simon long enough for me to go work out and take a shower. Isn't that wonderful?!!!!

Overall, we're doing really well and we miss you, wonderful friends and family!
