That being said, when I was shopping for an outfit for Angie's wedding, I found this amazing pair of heels at a consignment store. Yellow, Banana Republic, vintage-looking heels with really pretty details. Even though they are tall heels, they are well made so pretty sturdy. So I bought them. I have some cute flats, but they are my one pair of really, truly fabulous heels.
Dorothy likes them too. She likes to wear them around the house, and out.
Dorothy is striking a pose for you, dear blogosphere. A pose that says "I am misunderstood because I am both beautiful and stylish in ways that you can never even comprehend. Also, I need a diaper change."
One day in particular, at her vigorous insistence, of course, she wore them to the library and the grocery store. She kept them on her feet THE ENTIRE TIME by keeping her little toes scrunched up, even when her feet were dangling in the shopping cart seat.
She has even worn them on the playground, and walked around in the sand with them on.
I should care more about the condition of my really fabulous shoes, but it's so funny and she enjoys it so much that I'm okay with it.

That is hilarious! I can't believe she could keep them on her feet. Looks like you need to buy her some closer to little-people size. But then, she might not ever wear anything else.
Yeah, how did she keep them on that whole time? Impressive. And heels are hard because you have to spend a lot of money on them to get ones that are comfortable and good quality. I heart shoes. : )
Wow what a girly-girl you have! I cannot believe what a personality Dorothy is! All your stories crack me up...
Ohhhh, so funny! What a fashion girl. Amazing she could keep them on! What a show at the store she must have been, or the playground!
Love, Mom L
Oh my goodness, the first picture of Dorothy is priceless. WHere did she learn to pose like that before? Janelle???......
