Soooooo, about that last post. Dorothy's Swine Flu symptoms looked like they were very much on the mend for about a day and a half, but they are now back with a vengeance. We're still doing OK otherwise, this is just a bummer.
I don't mean this to sound bad, but sometimes I like it a little bit when she's sick. Hear me out before you start labeling as the worst parent ever. She's not one of those sick kids who cries all the time. She just wants to be held and cuddled. So for most of the day we sit together and read books and watch movies, Dorothy snuggled in my lap. It's cute. She's not usually a cuddler, so I enjoy it while I can.
Still, I want her healthy ASAP. Keep her in your prayers.

Take Dorthy to the doctor! Perhaps this is a paranoid comment from someone living in Mexico City, but people who don't go to the doctor in time here are dying, DYING of the swine flu. Better safe than sorry. Hope she gets well soon!

Thanks for the input. We've been talking with my Dad a lot, and he's been telling us things to look for to alert us that she really does need medical attention. But, she's doing everything she should be doing, so a doctor would just tell us to give her lots of liquids and let her rest. Thank you, Nat, sincerely. It's nice that other people are concerned too. I'm sorry that things are so bad in D.F.
