We're doing fabulously well. I feel like we're pretty settled in a routine, and I'm not nearly as sleep deprived as I thought I would be. It feels more like one really high maintenance baby than two babies, they've synchronized nicely. So, other than a ridiculous number of diaper changes and the occasional times when they both decide to cry, it hasn't been too much different than one baby. They really are good, easy-going babies.
My Mom left today (sniff!), so we'll see how I do now that I actually have to do my own laundry and dishes. Wish me luck!
Norah, one month
Ruby, one month
Dorothy's babies have been well taken care of. She's learning some parenting tricks after watching us take care of the babies.
This is embarrassing. I can't remember which baby this is. Norah, I think? I've got to upload pictures more often and label who's who right away or this could turn into a huge mess.
After bath time. Ruby is on the right, and Norah on the left. They're starting to lose that delicate, wrinkly newborn look I think.

Look at you slim right down after TWINS! I didn't slim down that fast after one!
Janelle- you look GREAT! How did you slim down so fast? Ruby and Norah are beautiful! I wish I could hold them right now!!!
I wish I could snuzzle those babies. They are so cute. They look exactly the same to me. That after-bath photo is the best! Glad things are going so well.
they are looking chunky and you are looking thin! Very cute girls you've got there...glad it hasn't been too bad.
Those babies are absolutely beautiful. Are you guys ever going to Oregon? I want to see them in person real bad.
oh all my baby girls in Indiana are so cute. So sad for me ( sniff) to have to leave that lovely sight - I have to get my Lewis baby fix via the blog.
So fun to see you adorable family!! You are a bunch of cuties. Actually, your girls are beautiful!! Love you, Carolyn DeJong
I see that Dorothy can do a mean swaddle. Those first two pictures, it almost looks like mirror images. I'm so curious to see if their personalities will resemble each other.
So darling! All of you.
(Um, are you back to size "0" already? Not fair!)
That's funny about not remembering which baby you are holding in the picture. Yep, I guess you'll be forced into frequent blogging for the sake of accuracy, right? That's a good thing for the rest of us.
Those little babies have some GREAT chub on them. So, don't worry about feeling like a cow (cuz you certainly don't look like one!), because those little girls have Awesome chubby cheeks!
