The Booful Bride

(Booful= Beautiful, just in case you don't speak toddler.)

We were lucky enough to be able to catch my cousin Rachel's wedding. I think it was one of the cutest receptions that i have ever been to.

This is the reception hall, with a darling garden/field outside surrounded by amazingly non-smelly cow pastures. It was so picturesque and so lovely. Seriously, it looked like it was straight out of a wedding magazine or design blog. Of course my fantastic photography doesn't do it justice, but take my word for it, it was darling.

Instead of a guest book, guests typed notes with this type writer. Cute cute.

The line. There was a chandelier and picture frames hanging from that tree. And yes, that is a cow pasture behind them.

Cupcakes. Pretty ones. Cotton candy and Stewart Soda. Oh, the cuteness.

The cows were an especially exciting part of the event for some guests.

Dorothy borrowed the camera and practiced her photog skills.

The joy simply cannot be contained!

The cupcake you see so artfully displayed here used to have a beautiful mountain of sugary frosting on top. I bet you can't guess who did this. I also bet you can't guess that well meaning aunts and uncles gave this unnamed person five such cupcakes, and all five ended up looking this way when said person was through with them. Said person also enjoyed a thrilling sugar high and then subsequent crash.

The vintage birds were a lovely touch. Thanks for providing toys, Aunt Becky.

Dorothy jabbered non-stop all day about seeing the Booful Bride, about her flowers and her Booful dress, and how she SO BADLY wanted a picture with the Booful Bride. But, when she got her chance, she got scared. So I came too. So did the funcles (funky+uncles, that's what we call 'em).

Dorothy decided that rather than being in a picture with the Booful Bride, she would rather just take pictures of the Booful Bride.

Lovely shoes, everyone.

Cute pictures! The people who own that reception place/farm were in my old ward. The mom was my young women's leader! They are a great family. Your cousin has great taste to choose that place. I love the typewriter idea.

I love the typewriter/guest book...how original. I can't believe they had it next to a cow pasture...very pastoral. These cows must love that!

I have to agree with everyone else, I LOVE the typewriter/guestbook. How cool is that! And I love Dorothy's photography eye. She is definitely a photographer in the making
