Hey yall!
I'm boring and don't have any new photos to upload. But I've got some great stories from this week. Bullet points again!
-In the nursery room at our church building, there is a little bathroom with a real, tiny, child sized toilet and sink so kids can use the bathrooms themselves. Dorothy thinks this bathroom is the bomb-diggity, so we often have to make a stop there in the middle of sacrament meeting. I took her this time, and decided while we were in there that I desperately had to go too. Hmmm, this is a dilemma. Is it too embarrassing to use a kid's mini size toilet? I think a little bit, but when we came in, we were the only ones in the nursery room. So, I did it. Here is what happened...
"Mommy! You do a pee pee? WOW! Good job Mommy. Give me five. Mommy, have to wipe your bum. Good job Mommy. You flushing the toilet? Mommy! Wash your hands! Yay Mommy! You did it!" (Since Dorothy has been potty trained, my confidence in my fantastic ability to use the bathroom has been sky-high, thank you very much.) The whole time, I'm trying to quietly shush her. Sure enough, we come out of the bathroom and another family was sitting there smiling. Of course. Caught.
-PS from my other long post, I'm doing just fine wearing normal clothes now, I'm planning on buying sweat pants to wear after babies are born.
-I have felt SO good the last couple days. I wonder if it's because I am mere days away from being done with the first trimester (yes!), but this has been awesome. I actually want to eat again, and a lot. And I don't feel nearly as tired any more. Tuesday was the first day of feeling better, and all of a sudden I felt like Super Woman. Dorothy took a nap, and get this, I made a lasagna, cleaned out our refrigerator, cleaned the bathroom, cleaned out our car, and did some organization in our storage closet. It felt SO good to actually want to do things again. I am really proud of myself, can you tell?
-Dorothy was sick for a few days, and the thing that works best for us is to have Dallin sleep on the couch and Dorothy sleep in the bed with me. I know that sounds awful, but Dallin can't sleep at all with Dorothy in our bed, and when she's not feeling well, she can wake up every two hours, but she'll sleep through the night in our room. So, this way we're all much happier the next day. Anywhoo, from this experience I learned something interesting, Dorothy talks in her sleep. She even using complete, coherent sentences. Here are the two that I remember:
"Mommy, whatcha got? Whatcha got Mommy? (gasp!) Hot Chocolate?! Hot chocolate VERY yummy, Mommy." Uh-oh. I think she inherited my favorite addiction.
"Simon, NO! No no no Simon!"
So, that is what a two year old dreams about.
Have a wonderful day! Peace out.

hahahaha LOVE IT!!!
Kids in the bathroom--so much fun. :) Or, not. Here's how mine went this week at the doc office bathroom. When questioned about the plastic cup in my hand, I explained I had to do a urine sample for the doc to look at (explaining quietly, of course). Then in a very loud voice my little son said, "Oh, you have to pee in a cup?!"
