"It was lost, and is found."

Your bellybutton. Everyone has one. It's always there for you and you can always count on it to be in the exact place you left it.
What would life be life without your bellybutton? What if it simply...disappeared? Impossible, you say. What kind of terrifying, insecure existence would it be if you constantly lived in fear of looking down one day to find that your bellybutton had vanished...

Enter the terrifying world of Dorothy Mae.

Dorothy has only recently discovered her bellybutton, and is enamored with it. All she has to do is hear the word "bellybutton" and it sends her on a mad search to find hers. Layers of clothing cannot hinder her in her quest, be it coat or onesie, the bellybutton must be found. She gasps on seeing it again, poking at it and saying something that only her parents would recognize as the word "bellybutton", then goes on a mad dash to make sure that both Mommy and Daddy still have theirs.

If for what ever reason her bellybutton can't be located right away (i.e. because of a snapped onesie, highwater pants, or a diaper pulled up too high), mass hysteria and chaos ensues until the prodigal bellybutton is finally found. Then follows much rejoicing.

I'm sure if there was a fatted calf, it would be killed in celebration.
