If you are not a grandparent, you may not find this post interesting. Consider yourself warned.
Here's some pictures of our summer to make up for my bloggy slackerness.
Heat wave evidence. That's Ruby.
Dallin took Dorothy to the county fair (NOT the one in Indianapolis where the stage collapsed and killed people). She liked this ride.

I took a paltry number of photos on our vacation through California and Minnesota, but I did get this gem-- Norah rolled herself into a Minnesota football helmet and got stuck.

Grandma Caffy and baby Ella (who I FINALLY got to meet! She's hilariously adorable and made this shocked/awed face constantly, my Mom is imitating it perfectly here).
Annnnd, I'm so embarrassed but I didn't get any pictures of MY kids with grandma and grandpa (though I think some other family members have some, yes? Send them my way pretty please, or else I will be sad).

I'm not a grandma, but I loved this post anyway. Yes, the helmet photo is a total gem! I'm with Dorothy on the "not like" ride. I rode a big-people's version of that in Lagoon last month, and I felt the same way. Love your feet at the beach. Sometimes it's the only way to document that you are still alive and part of the fam.
I LOVED every picture. Surely glad we got to be a part, just a small part, of your summer.
Love you all!
