I bought me some black boots and skinny jeans. These were the two things I really wanted this year and it took me a while because I wanted to get them at a thrift store. (5$!!!! Wahoo!) And boy howdy, they are AWESOME. I feel like cat woman every time I wear them.

Ruby. I was putting away laundry in their room, and came out to find that they had discovered watercolors. Oh joy. Ruby got the blue.
Norah liked the orange (why do they like this stuff and not homemade applesauce? WHY?!!!! I had to literally pry it out of their little fists as they sobbed.)
Look. At. This. My life is forever changed. They can climb stairs. And onto Dorothy's little chairs. And even onto the couch (once). But they don't know how to get down yet. Yes indeedy, life at the Lewis house has been exciting lately.

File this under crazy things done in student years. These are actual cloth diapers that I had been using. They are the same diapers I used for Dorothy for two+ years, and twins for almost a year. I had been strategically folding them to try to get all my bases covered.
We finally got new diapers in September, and my quality of life has improved dramatically. I thought I'd take a picture of these on their way out to commemorate their service to us. Well done, diapers. You fought a good fight.

Love your thriftiness,Janelle. It inspires me. Talk about "use it up, wear it out"! Hope Dallin knows how lucky he is! you're babies are almost 1! And I've discovered boots are NECESSARY (and look great) when you're going to church in the winter. :)
I love that you documented the diapers! I'm defitniely impressed. The jeans and boots look great on you! I have to admit, I'm a bit jealous--I know I'll never be able to pull off skinny jeans. Oh well =)
