Well, this is awkward...

Dorothy likes to color. I think it's wonderful. We even have a wall of clips to display her artwork.
When I got home from the hospital with the babies, they sent me home with a health packet that covered EVERYTHING. I feel pretty confident that I know how to take care of myself and my babies, so I took the whole thing apart and put the paper into Dorothy's usable-for-art paper folder (where we usually put paper that only has something on one side).
So...
Dorothy was on a kick where she wanted to bring a picture over for her friends whenever we'd go to their house. One day, we brought over a picture on the back of a SIDS warning page. Woops. And that family had a baby too. No hidden message there, friends. Just art.

The best though-
One page has cartoon diagrams of how to give yourself a breast exam. There are a couple of pictures in different positions. It also includes a picture of how a mammogram works. When I put it in her paper folder, I thought, big whoop. She'll color on the back and forget all about it. And I'm nursing, it's not like she hasn't seen boobs before.
But no. When she pulled that page out, she said. "Look mom! A coloring book!" And proceeded to carefully color every picture. At this point, I still don't care. She'll forget about it. Then, she proceeds to cut out each individual picture. And want to hang it on our wall. I drew the line there and said "How about we put it in your special box?" Okay! She says. I try to sneak it into the recycling this morning. Nope. So it appears I'm stuck with some beautifully illustrated pictures of how to give oneself a breast exam.
Then again, maybe I WILL hang them on the wall because it's just so funny.
Okay, better pay attention to my spawn now.

And PS from prior posts-
I did get a bunch of little spidery stretch marks, but you can't really see them now. And also, I'm really glad that Dallin doesn't care what I wear. It's nice.

That is very funny. I could see where this post was going and was expecting much worse - like the illustrations on how to properly clean before a urine sample. Made me laugh!
