Norah turning to look...
..because Ruby's making a racket.
Norah L, Ruby R.
Aaaaw. Sweet big sister.
She likes to have things set up just so. I think she spent about 20 minutes getting this party just right. The cushion on the ground is for me because "Mommy, you're bigger than baby doll." This is true.
Norah has been all smiles lately.
Ruby has been having a harder time. It's not her fault, I think she may have an ear infection. She hasn't entirely been herself and has been needing lots of snuggling. Hence fewer pictures. She's being held rather than having her picture taken.
Smiley Norah, post tubby.
By way of a brief update- We're doing well! I have actually ventured out of the house by myself with all three of my children twice now. I'm starting to see why twin-parent veterans would always say that it was lovely, you just don't go anywhere for the first six months. Having these two is lovely most of the time, but jeez. If I'm going to go somewhere, it darn well better be worth the effort, especially if I have to shovel snow off of my car. Going somewhere throws the rest of our day off in a funny way. It's okay, I'm a homebody anyway. I just want to feel like I can do it. Now that I have proved to myself that I can, I think we'll go back to hunkering down unless I really want to go somewhere. Local friends, feel very loved and important if you see me with everyone outside of my home. Really it's nice. It forces me to be creative with Dorothy, and slow down enough to snuggle my babies.
And... the babies are getting chubby thigh rolls. Be still my heart. I love love LOVE baby chub. Have you noticed?

AHHH FER CUTE!!! They are so cute and I want to eat their cheeks.
How do they look compared to Dorothy at this age??
I can't get enough of these cute pictures. Those fat cheeks are yummy looking! Dorothy is such a good big sister. Surely nice she can entertain herself so well. Cong's on venturing out a couple of times. No need to set records, you did it!
They're so cute. And they're starting to get their own looks a little! I wish I was more of a homebody. It doesn't take long for me to get cabin fever.
Dallin and Janelle, you should win a prize or something, those girls are ADORABLE! I love, love, love the picture of Dorothy reading to them (semi-naked) and where both of the babies heads are towards the book. So cute!
Oh Janelle. I want to eat them up. They are all so cute. I love Dorothy topless in the poofy skirt. So, I'm not seeing a strong resemblance between the babies and Dorothy. Is it just me?
Oh, those CHEEKS!!! I could kiss them all day!! Honestly, Janelle, what do you do? Feed them milkshakes all day? Isaac's cheeks and legs are gradually getting chubbier and I love it!! I am so amazed at how you're handling twins. You make it look so easy!!
The other day when we saw your blog with Dallin & Dorothy in the snow, Julia exclaimed, "Oh my! They are going to need 360 drops of hot chocolate after playing in that snow!"
I love Dorothy's tea party. The twins are darling, of course. Winter is a perfect time to hunker down and stay at home (especially in the midwest).
so cute, love the chubby cheeks and the ever creative Dorothy. Love it that she was reading "Caps for Sale" to her dolls. " you monkeys you... you give me back my caps!!!"
Oh correction on the last comment - even better - she was reading to the twins! Go Dorothy - topless of course :)
