Just kidding.
So, last week Dorothy and I got to spend a lovely sunny week in Florida with the most entertaining aunts and uncles ever. Dallin stayed home and went to school. Bummer.
First day there, we attempted to go to the beach. We saw the most incredible storm-- lightening, wind, and then rain coming down in sheets. Seagulls were trying to fly but being held in place by the wind. So cool, but a bit of a bummer on designated beach day.
In the safety of the car.
Designated beach day #2 was considerably better. Above is aunt Margo being such a sweet auntie and playing keep-away from the waves with Dottie. Below is what we looked like most of the day. On a side note, the picture below is the only time I saw my Dad rest the whole trip. He was definitely the mover and shaker of the whole operation.
Next up, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.
A picture of the fam. We're in front of the new Harry Potter rides that are under construction. Here, you can see Hogsmeade to the right, and the castle in the background. Admittedly, I'm much more of a beach-hiking-camping girl than a theme park girl, but I got really excited looking at the Harry Potter set-up. It looked really cool.
The GRINCH!
He was hilarious even though he couldn't say a thing. Dorothy just hung on to me tight and looked scared.
Dorothy and Mason couldn't go on a lot of the rides, so they became good buddies. He taught her some mad coloring skills.
Who could resist taking pictures with super-girls?
I'm trying to look super buff.
Dorothy and aunt Angie. I love this picture because just as we took it a rollercoaster zoomed overhead, can you tell?
Mason being a good uncle.
It was SO fun to be in the bright sunshine for a few days and to see my loverly family. Good trip.

I love Islands of Adventure! What a fun trip.
Glad you got to escape to sunny Florida...Dallin's definite loss.
What better time to escape and see the sun than the winter time. Oh how I'm jealous.
I love you Nels!
That looks like a blast. How fun to have so many siblings doting over your baby. Mmm. I would love some sun right now.
