I love living in this community, there's so many fun things to do. Every year, they throw an awesome party for the Fourth of July. This year-- a potluck dinner, a bonfire with s'mores, the balloon artist! (he's amazing, one girl asked for a duck billed platypus and he made a very convincing one), water balloons, and a kid parade riding their decorated bikes around the playground.
And bless you South Bend. The weather was a bit overcast and in the 70's. Perfect.
When they set the bonfire, everyone thought we were all good because the grass around it was green and reasonably moist. Nope, the grass caught fire and it started spreading outward. Parents scrambled and were carrying buckets of sad from the sandbox and throwing coolers of water on it to stop it. Made for an exciting few minutes.Ruby.
Norah.
Finished off with sparklers.
And then definitely baths, because everyone was covered in marshmallows and popsicles. That's the mark of a good party!

What a great 4th of July event - The twins are looking so old!
Glad you had such a fun Fourth of July. I was going to say the same thing as Cathy. The twins are looking so big and grown up. Slow down girls! Can't wait to be there and enjoy them.
Holy smokes, when did those twins grow up!? You have some gorgeous girls on your hands!
