Washington DC

Why hello little dusty blog. How's about an an update? I'm going to try to fill in what we've been up to the last few months bit by bit.

First up, a whirlwind trip to Washington DC for the wedding of my sweet cousin Lexi. Lexi is more like a sister to us than a cousin. We wouldn't have missed it.

While we were there, we took a quick trip to Monticello.

My niece Ella. She has the most lovely strawberry blonde Rapunzel hair. (Side note: all growing up, I used to say that I wanted to marry a red head so that I could have strawberry blonde children. Way to live my dream, Margo!) And she might just be the world's sweetest most chill little kid.

We stayed in a cabin in Wintergreen for a few days so I could hang out with my sisters and Mom.

And the wedding! Dorothy became the default flower girl by virtue of there being an extra bouquet of flowers. Dorothy swore to keep it until she could use it at her wedding. When I told that her flowers would die eventually, she became obsessed with making sure the flowers had enough water. She spent her time at the reception dunking her flowers in the fountain, then eating candy.

The DC temple. Lovely, isn't it?

Ruby is in the peach sweater, Norah in the green dress.

I met this handsome devil. My nephew Liam.

The fam. And somehow, I managed to not get a picture of the bride and groom. Boo.
Fun times, still.

I love the family picture at the end. Angie's baby is so cute and Elise is so old! Ha ha, I guess it's been a while since your wedding when I saw her last. I love that Dorothy wanted to keep the flowers until her wedding. So sweet.
