We hadn't gone camping all summer, and then in two weekends in August, we finally make it--first with the Williams and then a ward camp-out. Meredith and Bryan were great fun, ad we barely missed a huge storm and ended up having great weather. Turns out, Dorothy really likes camping--its the only time she gets to sleep with Mommy and Daddy! There wasn't much to do around the campsite, so after breakfest and packing up we found a little place to go hiking.
A couple of weeks later, Meredith and Bryan were so kind to watch Dorothy while we enjoyed our anniversary gift--tickets to a Jack Johnson concert! It was a blast--the ampitheater was packed, probably around 20,000 there, and he put on a great show. We had some pretty good seats up in the grassy area, and we lounged out for the couple of hours before everything began. Hopefully these pictures give you an idea of what it was like--and make you jealous.
