Sugar Camp

Sugar Camp Days at Bendix Woods is one of our favorite annual outings. The parks dept goes all out- historical demonstrations of tapping and boiling down syrup with costumes ("Mom! It's a REAL indian!"), horse carriage rides, crafts,  syrup taste testing, and all sorts of other awesomeness. Not to be forgotten-- maple popcorn and maple hot chocolate.

Norah is in the purple hat, Ruby in the red ladybug hat.

She dragged that stick along snowbanks the entire time.

Awesome adventure for your family outing. I love it how the girls still wear dresses or dancing outfits no matter the weather!

Oh how fun - Just like Little House on the Prairie - They do love to wear dresses..... Just like their mother insisted on for years! And is the "twirl-ability" of the dress important????
