The Oregon Coast

Why hello dusty little blog! Let's clear off some cobwebs.

This posts alternate title would be "Reliving Janelle's Favorite Childhood Memories" aka going to the Oregon coast. Dallin and I borrowed his parents' car and left for the day so that our families could actually get some things done without us in their hair. It was awesome. Really really awesome. Our kids loved it.

Dallin and Dorothy.

I love this picture.

Ruby preferred to play with sand, Norah got really attached to this piece of seaweed.

Babies! Norah L Ruby R.

You know, just chillin and reading a magazine.

Nose. Thanks Ruby.

I was there too. And that's Norah. Also you can see haystack rock in the background. This is where they filmed the beach scene with the pirate ship in Goonies! (But from the other side of the rock)

Since we're reliving my childhood, no beach trip would be complete without stopping at the Tillamook Cheese Factory. Random, I know. But it's right near the beach.

Dorothy, Norah, yours truly.

Ruby's new trick.

Also, we had to eat copious amounts of Tillamook ice cream.

Not pictured-- clam chowder at Mo's. I die. And spreading cheddar bunny crumbs all over the Lewis's clean car on the drive. Thanks guys!
