Really, more pictures than you ever cared to see.
Bless-ed, wonderful Grandma Cathy came to visit. She slept on our couch, worked much too hard, played with my babies, and rubbed my feet while telling me what a good Mommy I am. She needs to come more often. Please?
She brought one of my favorite books from when I was a little girl. It's called "Princess Tresses" and it's about a girl with long Rapunzel hair and the pros and cons of having very long hair. Lest I leave you in suspense, she ends up cutting her hair short, and wearing a cap until it is just the right length, not too long and not too short. The book is old, written in the 70's and out of print. But I found a copy on Ebay and ordered it. I'm so excited. It reminds me so much of being little. I remember staring at those pictures for hours.
Dorothy cut out a crazy number of hearts for our Valentine's dinner decorations. I asked if she was getting tired of it. "NO! This is SO FUN!!!"

how fun to have your mom there! Don't you love nostalgic books? Glad you found it. The twins are getting quite the personality. Loved the hearts. I was kind of glad when V day was over...there was significantly LESS paper cutting happening around here. :) And you are a great mom! Thanks for the update!
I'm impressed Dorothy can cut out hearts so well! Paxton's new favorite thing is to cut paper too, but he's not good at following patterns yet. : ) I miss you guys!
Dorothy is such a perfect mixture of you and Dallin! She is adorable! I'm so glad I found this blog!
Janelle, your hair has gotten so long. It's beautiful. But lets be honest, any hair style on you is great!
And dallin has quite the facial hair :)
I can't believe Dorothy cut out all those hearts! And they look so good too!! Loved the pics of the twins showing off their personality!
Dorothy is better at cutting hearts than I am.
Looks like you have your hands full! Those twins are hilarious.
What personalities those girls have! Nothing better than having Mom there to lighten the load and pamper you a bit. You deserve it!
