In this picture, she is not ready to go, even though technically she is. Here was one instance of true parental cruelty. She wanted to be able to see her cute "shirt with flowers ON it!", aka she did not want to wear anything other than her "shirt with flowers ON it!". It was -15 degrees Farenheit outside. You can guess the rest. She stood in place voicing her disapproval like this for a while. I took full advantage and took a picture.
Another and much warmer day, perfect for the khaki pea coat. Aaaaah, the khaki pea coat. A favorite for it's buttons and flowers on the inside. But how to button it?
Hmmmm, not working.
Maybe it's just best to let it all hang out.
I hope you all are going places and doing wonderful things! We've had a blissful Christmas at home, with lots of down time and yummy food. We miss and love you, wonderful family and friends!

From this day on, i'm going to get all my daughters khaki pea coats. So cute. dorothy bundled up reminds me of Ralphie from The Christmas Story. This is just great. :)
She is a cutie! I'm glad you've had a relaxing and enjoyable break. That is the beauty of the school schedule--a "break" is very welcome and very fun.
I want to squeeze her! Such cute pictures, even when she's not happy! So fun.
Thanks....
Love, Mom Lewis
